SCOTT APPLEBY

Picture of Man in Suit with Red Tie and Black JacketBorn in Spokane, Washington, Scott has lived in the San Diego area since 1971.  Graduating from La Jolla High School, he was three-time CIF Tennis Champion and President of the Class of ‘78. Scott’s achievements both on and off the tennis court continued as he pursued his degree at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.  A member of Psi Upsilon Fraternity, Scott graduated with a degree in Geological Science. After spending the post-college years in the Bay Area as a securities broker, Scott returned home to La Jolla in 1992, where he joined his mother, Mary Appleby, and sister, Kerry Appleby Payne, to embark on an award winning career in residential real estate.

Scott has been in the top 1% nationally and continues to receive top honors in San Diego. Leaders in the high end real estate market, Scott and Kerry continue to earn the trust and respect of their valued customers. They represent both sellers and buyers in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, La Jolla and Solana Beach….their target markets. 2011, 2012 and 2013 were continued years of great success, as the Appleby Family team again topped the charts within the Willis Allen Real Estate company, as well as amongst the luxury real estate specialists in San Diego.

Scott, his wife, Susan and their sons, Andrew and Will, reside in the Village of Rancho Santa Fe where Scott has served as President of the RSF Tennis Club, as a Co-Captain of the Men’s Tennis Leagues and helps interview high school applicants forDartmouth College. Leisure time with family and friends is spent playing golf, tennis and enjoying community activities.

 

KERRY APPLEBY PAYNE

Picture of Blonde Woman in Read ShirtBorn in Spokane, Washington, Kerry has made San Diego her home since 1971.  She graduated from The Bishop’s School, where she was the Yearbook Editor, in the Bishop’s Choral, Class Officer, Captain of the tennis team and twice won doubles titles at the esteemed Ojai Tournament. After Bishop’s, Kerry went on to earn her B.S. Degree and Teaching Credential at USC in Los Angeles.

Upon returning home to La Jolla after graduation, Kerry spent 10 years working in hotel and property management. In 1988,Kerry began her successful real estate career in partnership with her mother, Mary Appleby, and now partners with her brother, Scott Appleby.

Leaders in the high end real estate market, Scott and Kerry continue to earn the trust and respect of their valued customers. They represent both sellers and buyers in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, La Jolla and Solana Beach…their target market. 2011, 2012 and 2013 were continued years of great success, as the Appleby Family team topped the charts within the Willis Allen Real Estate company, as well as amongst the luxury real estate specialists in San Diego.

Kerry’s past volunteer activities have included serving as President of the Bishop’s School Alumni Association, the Barnes Family Tennis Center Foundation Board and Treasurer of the San Diego Junior League. She currently serves the community as a supporter of Ark Antiques in La Jolla, USC Trojan League of San Diego, “Just In Time For Foster Youth” and fundraising for the Helen Woodward Animal Center.  Kerry and her husband, John, have made their home in Rancho Santa Fe since 1994. They enjoy playing golf and tennis, gardening and spending time with their yellow lab and extended family.
